Lamivir S

Lamivir S is an antiretroviral medication that combines lamivudine and stavudine for the management of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). Mechanism of Action:

Lamivudine: Gets incorporated into the viral DNA by reverse transcriptase, causing premature chain termination and thus inhibiting viral replication.
Stavudine: Also gets incorporated into the viral DNA, leading to chain termination and inhibition of HIV replication.
