Tenvir AF

Tenvir AF is a tablet that contains 25 mg of Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF), an antiretroviral medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults and children.

Composition:

• Tenofovir Alafenamide: 25 mg
• Tablet core: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate
• Film coating: hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide

Mechanism of Action:

Tenvir AF works by inhibiting the activity of HIV reverse transcriptase, an enzyme necessary for the virus to replicate. Tenofovir Alafenamide is a prodrug that is converted into Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF) in the body, which then inhibits the viral DNA polymerase.

Dosage:
