Infimab is a prescription medication used to treat several conditions, including:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
- Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA)

Composition: Infimab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody that targets and neutralizes tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), a protein that contributes to inflammation and joint damage in these conditions.
Indications: Infimab is indicated for the treatment of:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in adults who have had an inadequate response to other treatments
- Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) in adults who have had an inadequate response to other treatments
- Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) in adults who have had an inadequate response to other treatments
- Crohn’s Disease in adults who have had an inadequate response to other treatments
- Ulcerative Colitis in adults who have had an inadequate response to other treatments
Mechanism of Action: Infimab works by binding to TNF-alpha and preventing it from interacting with its receptors, thereby reducing inflammation and joint damage.
Dosage and Administration: Infimab is administered via intravenous infusion every 8 weeks, with the first dose given as a 0.5 mg/kg infusion and subsequent doses given as a 0.5-1 mg/kg infusion.
Side Effects: Common side effects of Infimab include:
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Nasopharyngitis
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Allergic reactions
- Increased risk of serious infections, including opportunistic infections such as tuberculosis
Precautions: Infimab is not recommended for individuals with:
- Active tuberculosis or a history of latent tuberculosis that has not been properly treated
- Active or chronic infections, including bacterial, fungal, or viral infections
- Weakened immune system
- History of lymphoma or other malignancies
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Contraindications:

Special Precautions:
