TOFADOZ 10MG TAB

TOFADOZ 10MG TAB is a medication used to treat:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA): a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, stiffness, and pain in the joints
• Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA): a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, stiffness, and pain in the joints, as well as skin and nail symptoms
• Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA): a chronic inflammatory disorder that causes inflammation of the blood vessels

Composition: Each tablet of TOFADOZ contains 20mg of Tofacitinib (an active pharmaceutical ingredient), a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor.

Mechanism of Action: Tofacitinib works by:

• Inhibiting the activity of Janus kinases, which are enzymes that play a role in the signaling pathways involved in inflammation and immune responses
• Reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are proteins that promote inflammation and tissue damage
