Zurig is a prescription medication that contains Febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It is used to treat chronic gout and hyperuricemia (high levels of uric acid in the blood).
Indications: Zurig is indicated for the treatment of:
- Chronic gout: to reduce the frequency of gout attacks and to decrease the levels of uric acid in the blood.
