Composition:
Gardasil 9 is a recombinant vaccine that contains:

Mechanism of Action:

Indications:
Gardasil 9 is indicated for:
- Prevention of HPV-related diseases in males and females aged 9-26 years
- Prevention of genital warts in males and females aged 9-26 years
- Prevention of anal cancer and precancerous lesions in males who have sex with males aged 9-26 years
Dosage:
Gardasil 9 is administered as a three-dose series, with the following schedule:
- Dose 1: at age 11-12 years
- Dose 2: at age 12-13 years
- Dose 3: at age 15-16 years
Side Effects:
Common side effects of Gardasil 9 include:
- Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Muscle or joint pain

Recommendation:
Gardasil 9 is recommended for all individuals aged 9-26 years who have not been previously vaccinated against HPV. The vaccine is also recommended for males who have sex with males, as they are at increased risk of developing anal cancer.
