Clozac (Salicylic Acid and Nicotinamide Gel)

Composition:

• Salicylic Acid: A keratolytic agent that helps to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover.
• Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide): A form of Vitamin B3 that has anti-inflammatory properties, helps to improve skin barrier function, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation.

Mechanism of Action:

• Salicylic Acid: Penetrates the pores and helps dissolve the debris that clogs them. It promotes the shedding of skin cells, reduces inflammation, and prevents new acne formation.
• Nicotinamide: Reduces inflammation and supports the skin’s barrier function, thereby reducing redness and irritation associated with acne. It also helps to balance oil production.

Dosage:

• Apply a thin layer of Clozac gel to the affected area of the skin once or twice a day, as directed by a healthcare provider. It may be advisable to start with once-daily application to assess skin tolerance before increasing frequency.

Usage:

• Before applying, cleanse the affected area with a mild cleanser and pat dry.
• Apply the gel evenly and avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes.
• Use sunscreen during the day while using this product as salicylic acid can increase sun sensitivity.
