GESTONE is an intramuscular (IM) progesterone injection used to support pregnancy, menstrual disorders, and assisted reproductive techniques (ART). It contains natural progesterone in an oil-based solution for sustained release.

Mechanism of Action

Dosage & Administration
1. For Luteal Phase Support (IVF/ART):

25–100 mg IM daily starting post-ovulation or embryo transfer.

Continued for 8–12 weeks if pregnancy is confirmed.
2. For Threatened Miscarriage:

50–100 mg daily until symptoms stabilize.
3. For Amenorrhea/Menstrual Disorders:

5–10 mg daily for 6–8 days to induce withdrawal bleeding.
How to Administer:

Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation.
